FEEDING RECOMMENDATION
Super Phase D is a concentrate and must be mixed with other raw materials to be fed as a supplement or complete finishing and growth diet for cattle. See tables below for mixing recommendations. Consult a nutritionist for further information.
RATION 1
Final mixture’s recommended intake is 2.8% of body mass after the adaptation period.
RATION 2
For good but limited growth on green pastures (700g - 1000g ADG), feed the mixture at 1-1.4% of body mass after the adaptation period.
RATION 3
Feed ration 3 at 1-1.5% of body mass of calves in creep systems and walking with their mothers. Good quality lucern can also be added to the mixture to improve palatability.
ADAPTATION
During the first 10-14 days intake should be limited to prevent metabolic disturbances. Additional roughage must be fed during the adaptation period and it is important that enough hay must always be available, even after the adaptation period.
Please note:
• Sufficient trough space is essential to ensure that dominant animals don’t over consume.
• Average intake must be calculated to ensure enough feed is being fed.
• Enough cool, clean drinking water should always be available.
