PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Wesfed Super Phase D Complete is a complete feed for bulls in the Phase D test. It is also excellent for the growth and finishing of calves on green pastures and the preparation of animals for shows and auctions. It has a high rumen bypass protein and energy content with an excellent balanced supply of minerals and trace minerals for the benefit of muscle development without excessive fat deposits. Super Phase D contains medicaments to improve growth rate and feed conversion.
SPECIFICATIONS
FEEDING RECOMMENDATION
In the feedlot, average dry matter intake should be approximately 2.4% of live body mass with ad lib good quality hay.
On green pastures, dry matter intake should be limited to 1-1.5% of live body mass with 2 or 3 feedings per day.
ADAPTATION
During the first 10-14 days intake should be limited to prevent metabolic disturbances. Additional roughage must be fed during the adaptation period and it is important that enough hay must always be available, even after the adaptation period.
Week 1: 3-4kg Super Phase D per day with hay ad lib.
Week 2: 4-5kg Super Phase D per day with hay ad lib.
Please note:
Sufficient trough space is essential to ensure that dominant animals don’t over consume.
Average intake must be calculated to ensure enough feed is being fed.
Enough cool, clean drinking water should always be available.

NPN WARNING: This product contains NPN-sources and registered stock remedies. Refer to attached stock remedy label for further information. Protect this farm feed against rain – NPN is soluble and animals drinking such solution could be poisoned. Feed strictly according to recommendation. Do not feed this farm feed indiscriminately with other NPN containing farm feeds. Consult an animal nutritionist.
NPN TREATMENT: NPN-poisoning can be treated with the addition of vinegar. Mix vinegar with an equal amount of water and dose ±400ml per head of sheep and 1.5-2L per head of cattle.
